A is for Angel

Hokey Cokey, Suzyb has come up with a cracking idea. For the next 26 days she is going to post a photo everyday following the alphabet. Today's letter is 'A' and tomorrow's is 'B' so I'm going to play along he, he ~ thanks Suzy :O) Now, by sheer coincidence (I know it's hard to believe) but I too have an angel, a sand angel ... And this is the little Angel that made it :O)

K for Knight

Playing along with the HS:MS game, my word today had to start with 'K'. Ever since Gemma was little she has adored Eeyore. We bought her a soft toy and then another and now she has over 30! Most of them have different costumes, all of them are gorgeous :O)

(From Anita) Hi everyone! Kirsty and I can't believe how popular this site has become and how many of you regularly play along, it's just fantastic! It is pure joy to browse through your photos each day. We will be taking a summer break for a month as we both go on vacation. Please check back on the 1st of August when we resume our daily prompts. For those of you who want a little summer photography fun... i'm leaving you with a game. I have posted a photo with the propmt 'Logs'. The first person to comment must leave a photo and prompt of anything beginning with the last letter of mine 'S'. The next person must then take the next last letter to make the first letter of their prompt and photo... get it?

This is my DD3 writing her name on the back of the raffle tickets she won at school :O) They win them for good behaviour or good work and every Monday they are drawn out of a hat and they win prizes e.g. spending a whole day in their own clothes rather than their school uniform :O)
And this one is the inside of a bible that's been passed down to me. It says "Robert Notley from his affectionate daughter, Clara, 1873. How beautiful is that writing! Robert Notley is my 3 x great grandfather and I am in awe of this little book everytime I hold it. I would have loved to have seen a photo of Clara giving it to him and maybe reading his blog afterwards just to see what he thought of his present :O)

My hat today was made in 1998 for Gatten & Lake Primary School's Easter Bonnet Competition. A certain Darling Daughter {cough} won too :O)

I have never had the heart to throw it away so it sits in the cupboard above the bed. It's looking a bit tired now... This is Lisa, dressed as Carmen Miranda in the carnival the following year :O) Sorry the photo isn't that good, it's a scan of the original ~ thanks for looking xXx

Boat

3 Boats today :O) The photos were all taken on the same day at Bembridge a couple of weeks ago. The weather vein ... Bembridge Lifeboat Station ... And one of the tall ships passing the other side of the lifeboat runway. It's not a brilliant photo, I had only just found my digital lense on the camera that day. I'm hopeless at keeping still, I think I need a tripod?
Andrew & I want to walk around the coast of the Isle of Wight. It's 70 miles altogether so we haven't got the time (or the energy) to do it all in one go. We are doing it in stages. Tuesday we walked 9 miles and I tell you, I was fit alright ~ fit to drop ~ LOL!!
