Playing along with Suzyb, this is my 'H' photo ... This is my sugar buttie, Elena, trying to hide from me during a game of hide and seek in the park :O) Afterwards we had a pinecone fight and practiced our 'Sid Sloth' voices (from Ice Age) saying "pine cones, best of the season", ROFL, you just had to be there :O)

Playing along with Suzyb, this is my 'G' photo ... Sorry, I don't know what this is called. All I know, is that it's a weed and from sideways on I think it looks like a little Christmas tree but Andrew thinks it looks like a toilet brush ~ lol! Edited to say, we think it's Mare's Tail?

Droplet

Playing along with the HS:MS girls, this is my photo today ...We've had such a lot of rain recently I thought I would go out into the garden in between showers to see if there was anything I could photograph and was amazed to find huge droplets of water on the nasturtium leaves. I think the leaves were so waxy that all the rain gathered in one place ~ how cool is that :O)

Playing along with Suzyb, this is my 'F' photo ... Bit of a cheat today. I took this photo last week when we walked from the top of Culver Cliff back home. It was the round the Island Yacht Race and you can just see them on the horizon :O)

Hokey Cokey, Suzyb has come up with a cracking idea. For the next 26 days she is going to post a photo everyday following the alphabet. Today's letter is 'A' and tomorrow's is 'B' so I'm going to play along he, he ~ thanks Suzy :O) Now, by sheer coincidence (I know it's hard to believe) but I too have an angel, a sand angel ... And this is the little Angel that made it :O)

K for Knight

Playing along with the HS:MS game, my word today had to start with 'K'. Ever since Gemma was little she has adored Eeyore. We bought her a soft toy and then another and now she has over 30! Most of them have different costumes, all of them are gorgeous :O)

(From Anita) Hi everyone! Kirsty and I can't believe how popular this site has become and how many of you regularly play along, it's just fantastic! It is pure joy to browse through your photos each day. We will be taking a summer break for a month as we both go on vacation. Please check back on the 1st of August when we resume our daily prompts. For those of you who want a little summer photography fun... i'm leaving you with a game. I have posted a photo with the propmt 'Logs'. The first person to comment must leave a photo and prompt of anything beginning with the last letter of mine 'S'. The next person must then take the next last letter to make the first letter of their prompt and photo... get it?

This is my DD3 writing her name on the back of the raffle tickets she won at school :O) They win them for good behaviour or good work and every Monday they are drawn out of a hat and they win prizes e.g. spending a whole day in their own clothes rather than their school uniform :O)
And this one is the inside of a bible that's been passed down to me. It says "Robert Notley from his affectionate daughter, Clara, 1873. How beautiful is that writing! Robert Notley is my 3 x great grandfather and I am in awe of this little book everytime I hold it. I would have loved to have seen a photo of Clara giving it to him and maybe reading his blog afterwards just to see what he thought of his present :O)
