My hat today was made in 1998 for Gatten & Lake Primary School's Easter Bonnet Competition. A certain Darling Daughter {cough} won too :O)
I have never had the heart to throw it away so it sits in the cupboard above the bed. It's looking a bit tired now... This is Lisa, dressed as Carmen Miranda in the carnival the following year :O) Sorry the photo isn't that good, it's a scan of the original ~ thanks for looking xXx

Fabulous!!! I once made a fruit headpiece for a costume. Love how you attached yours to a hat - much more practical. Great photos.
